I’m a fully qualified, non-practising solicitor with over 15 years’ experience and multiple honours and awards. I have my own professional and personal development and lecturing business. I’m trusted and used by one of the UK’s leading law schools delivering postgraduate lecturing and workshop services in both ‘hard-core’ law, and softer skills training. I’m delivering this unique series of mini workshops to give-back to the wider community and for those who may not be ready for a full day course and to see what it’s like to work with me.

Improving your confidence
This workshop focuses on creating and developing confidence for professional and personal life success. Imagine a world where you were your most confident self… Would you be more effective at work? With clients? At home? With family and friends? Do you feel like you may be falling behind whilst others may be ahead because they are more confident? We aren’t born confident – the good news is, we can learn to work on it.
I’ll share my personal journey (I had speaking difficulties as a youngster believe it or not and years later, I earned a living successfully representing clients before judges!) as well as some helpful exercises, tools and guidance, to allow you to get closer to achieving your goals, and doing the tasks that you’ve been avoiding, no matter your personality. It’s time to ditch the limiting beliefs and to unlock your best confident self.

Enhancing and harnessing your resilience
Build and develop your resilience skills so you can respond effectively to forever changing professional and personal challenges. Resilience is a crucial skill, if Brexit and Covid has shown us anything in this challenging world. Stress, pressure and setbacks are part and parcel of life and we simply need to be able to get back up again and again and fight another day. This workshop will provide practical tools and techniques to build your resilience, so you can bounce back effectively and efficiently time and time again, as new challenges present themselves. Working on this skill will improve your health and wellbeing.

Don’t let the fear of mistakes take you out
I wholeheartedly agree with Dr. Abdul Kalam, I personally don’t like the word ‘fail’, he suggests we see it as ‘ first attempt in learning.’ It’s widely reported that one of the biggest fears people have is fear of failure. Fear of not succeeding at something new, fear that you may not make it, fear of what people may think of you, fear that stops you following your true dreams. The need to succeed is so fundamental in our minds and in society, that it can stop us from trying at all. Life is short, are you happy to continue to let fear make the decisions for you? What have you been putting off or avoiding for fear of failure?
In this workshop, we will build on your confidence, mindset and reframing skills so fear doesn’t hold you back from being the best, most successful version of yourself. Listen to your gut – healthy gut, healthy glow (mind, body and soul)
Your body needs a balance of nutrients to function at its best. According to the United Nations’ Food and Agricultural Organization, a third of the world’s soil is moderately to highly degraded. Another food nutrients study concludes that we would have to eat eight oranges to get the same amount of vitamin A as our grandparents did with one orange because of soil depletion. Government guidelines recommend we eat at least five, if not ten portions of fruits and vegetables per day. We all know this is difficult to achieve and frustratingly if we don’t fuel ourselves efficiently, this can impact our gut, mind, hormone and emotional health. Perhaps you may have noticed increased sickness? Tiredness? Spot breakouts? Headaches? Mood swings? This workshop will look at why gut health matters to our overall health and wellbeing, whilst also providing helpful and sustainable tips on how you can support your gut, mind and skin so you can glow, inside and out and be on top of your game personally and professionally.

Stress management and burnout techniques
Dealing with stress is part and parcel of life. It’s a normal physical and psychological response. However, if stress is extreme or chronic, our bodies go into distress, significantly impacting our health and wellbeing. Studies show that most people don’t realise they are burnt out until they are well and truly in the thick of being burnt out. By then, it’s a little late, though not impossible to come back. My aim is simple – to prevent this from ever happening to you.

Just look at the impact of Brexit and Covid alone. Together we will look at what may cause you to be stressed, how to recognise early warning signs and we will build a toolbox of stress reducing techniques and strategies.
